What's the moral lesson?

Good morning! It's 8:00 on a Wednesday morning and I just had my breakfast.

So I was preparing for a beautiful and positive day but it started out not so well. Family. As I am currently not working I have the time to blog about something that happens regularly. I woke up to the bitchiness of my sister who's taking up med.

I mean, if you can't handle the stress of medicine, might as well just let it go and move on with your life. She's miserable. Her negativity is contagious. I'm not saying she's stupid, but she has deep issues. I try to understand where her negativity is coming from, she can't clean up her stinking mess which she woke up to: bad smell, pimple on her face and a messy station-- bound to feel bad about everything.

So predictable though. So today I'm supposed to prepare for that meeting I have with a possible client, I am excited and nervous at the same time. Freelance marketing? Seriously...? Me? hi hi... Taking on a real project involving a real business and people hiring me for my strategic skills and creativity is unfathomable. Weird. Omg.

With that going on in my head, I cant avoid dealing with the juvenile tantrums of my sister, the one who seems so frustrated with herself. I get that she hasnt worked a day in her life where she got paid and she's feeling that miserable because she's never truly given anything to anyone coming from her own pocket or her own hard work, Im not condescending but I can see how something like that can really add up to that feeling of bitterness and frustration. She's lashing out on us and I dont like it when she covers up those things with her uppity attitude and feeling of self-importance just because she's taking up medicine.

Earlier I heard her line being cut and I seriously find it funny how at 24 she had the nerve to act like she's supporting herself, and take note, she believes that she's independent, when the money used to pay the line she's using is Mom's. I just find it ridiculous how she brainwashes herself and lies to herself to feel good. But as they say, fake it til you make it.

I just find it ridiculous really, how my mom made it and became a doctor without being that miserable, without becoming a lying mess.

I want to pity my sister but I get really frustrated, her negativity is infectious.

But then, there will always be those negative things for without those there will be no positivity. Focus on the positive. Focus.

Will read now before I work out and go out for that picture I need for my application for that other job...

Oh gosh. Im nervous... wish me luck!!

So what's the moral lesson?

The moral lesson is if you can't avoid those nega elements, then find a way to be positive by focusing on yourself and what you want to do. Notice and be aware of the negative things because it's good to know what's holding you back... Whilst, focusing on what you want and what will make you better.

Feel good and do good.
